Ten Years concept is to preserve and present authentic Malaysian Cuisine from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's to the new generation of youth.
In short, to compile all of Malaysia's signature dishes and present them under one roof.
I loved these little anecdotes on the wall. It puts a nice perspective of how these food are also a part our nation's rich history.
The concept proves to be successful so far with them currently having 3 outlets and I'm sure many-many more in the future.
Their logo - the 4 "10" with a red dot in the middle symbolises connecting people and food from 4 decades under one common ground.
Their signature dish is of course the 3 Layered Rice. I'm honestly surprised by how good this is.
Even their Nasi Lemak was good too, the chicken was especially nice.
The food ranges from RM10-30 which puts it in the same category as Secret Recipe, Papa Rich, Old Town etc - a place where you can go once or twice a month with friends.
The toast was alright - half milo half condensed milk though it could have been much better. The cendol was okay.
I bought these things almost every single day when I was six or seven.
I do think this restaurant's concept has a chance to go far as a franchise, not just locally but internationally as well.
I'll definitely come again.
